There were 18 total online and in-person. We experienced some technical difficulties. 

Tom Middlebrook was the speaker online via Zoom and spoke before the meeting. Tom Middlebrook is a Texas Archaeology steward. His presentation was about background information for the upcoming TAS 2023 field school, entitled “Finding Tejas: The Archeology of the First Location of Mission Concepción and Its Associated Sites.”

The meeting followed the presentation. Heather Leonard read the March and April meeting minutes, which were accepted by all. Caitlyn was not present, but Nick Morgan read the Treasurer’s Report which was accepted by all.  

There will be artifact processing at Anne and Robin Matthew’s house from the Joyful Horse site on May 27th. Nick Morgan reminded us that there is no June meeting due to Field School.
