The Travis County Archeological Society met via Zoom on September 21, 2021 at 7pm. In the absence of President Nick Morgan, Elliot Richmond welcomed everyone. Elliot read an email from Steve Davis requesting help with two projects. Leslie Bush read the Treasurer’s Report. Elliot moved to approve the report and Harry Miller seconded. Leslie also read the secretary’s minutes of the August 17, 2021 meeting. No amendments were made to the minutes. They were approved as read. Elliot had no additional agenda items or questions. He turned the program over to Margaret Melton. She gave an informative program on the Wild Turkey Midden in Mills County, Texas, explaining how it came to be named and more on the subject. After the program, Leslie mentioned how great the old photographs were. With no other business the meeting was adjourned at 8:18pm. There were 24 in attendance.
